When they merged their practices in 1993, Bill Wright and Dan Penning already shared 27 years of practice between them. The idea was to harness Bill's expertise in estate planning and tax matters with Dan's strengths in business law and litigation. The idea proved to be a powerful one.

Wright Penning & Beamer has become one of the most respected business and family wealth planning firms in the region -- and we're growing the practice across the state and entire midwest.

From "two men and a handshake," the firm has grown to include six attorneys, four "of counsel" attorneys (one of whom is Bill Wright), and a support staff of five paralegals and legal assistants. In June 2007, we relocated our headquarters in Farmington Hills to the junction of the I-275 and I-696 corridors, having outgrown our original office space.

At our new headquarters, our attorneys take leading roles in both the public and private sectors. We realize that our success as a firm is inextricably tied to the success of our clients and our community.

We provide legal services to over 100 corporations and business entities, including partnerships and non-profit corporations, and to thousands of individual business owners and their family members.

In December 2007, we opened our office in Suttons Bay. The Power of Know has served our clients well throughout Michigan.
